Classic Halloween Paper Tree Light
Good Evening, everyone. Eve Hallows, here. I just wanted to share this post with you on how to create a classic paper Halloween Tree Light. This tree is based off the classic Chrismas Tree light.
The inspiration was a trip to Michael’s. I sent my assistant to check out the new spooky offerings Michael has for 2019. She discovered a classic ceramic tree patterned from the ones you usually see for Christmas. The price listed was $60, and when she went back to Michael’s to check on it, there were none to be found. Subsequent trips to Michael’s reveal that the item has either all been sold out, or the store hasn’t put out all of their inventory. In any event, it looks like this is a hot item this year and will be hard to find. One option to create the look yourself is to go to a thrift store and purchase a classic Christmas Tree light and repaint it black and replace the lights with orange and purple lights. That’s not what we did, though.
The Dead and Breakfast has a Cricut Maker, which we use to make gifts for our guests and permanent spooks, so we decided to make our own paper version of the classic Christmas tree light and modify it so that it makes a delightfully tasteful and spookful decor item for the Dead and Breakfast.
Take a look at the video my assistant made showing you how we made this cute light.
Here is the supply list for items used in making this.
